Imaging speed means nothing if the drive will not read. Insight was built the other way round: diagnose the fault first, then work around it. Multi-pass imaging keeps returning to unreadable areas instead of stopping at them, and firmware modules can be rebuilt on a drive that will not otherwise respond.
